Boy Scout High Adventure Camps

• Pamlico Sea Base. Off the Coast of North Carolina, older Scouts who have "been there,done that" get an opportunity to have a sailing or sea-kayaking adventure that's completely different.

• Spanish Peaks Scout Ranch Colorado. Mountain & rock climbing. Cub HA camp.

• Mount Norris Indian Camp A completely different high adventure in Lake Eden, Vermont.

• Northern Tier High Adventure Ely, Minnesota. AKA Sommers Canoe Base. Reputedly the finest canoeing adventure in Scouting...hands down.

• Maine High Adventure  (Formerly Matagamon National High Adventure Base) Whitewater & lake canoeing; mountain hikes; biking.

• Blue Ridge Scout Reservation Virginia. 19th century Mountain Man; scuba.

• Rollins Pond Adventure Base New York. (Adirondacks) Canoe treks, water skiing, rock climbing, rappelling, high peaks treks, sailing.

• Packard High Adventure Base Colorado. Mountain biking, fishing, rappelling, mountain climbing, rafting on the Arkansas.

Scout Summer Camps

• Rotary Scout Reservation  Our own Twin Rivers Council Summer Camp, East of Averill Park.  COPE Course, Advanced Scout Program, High Adventure.

• Camp Wakpominee  Our own Twin Rivers Council Summer Camp up East of Lake George.  Great High Adventure Program.

• Camp Henderson  Camp owned by Otschodela Council down in Oneonta, NY.  Rustic Log Cabin Building, Excellent Indian Lore Program.  Formerly Crumhorn Mtn.

• Camp Russell  An Excellent Camp, owned by Revolutionary Trails Council, Utica, NY.  High Adventure Trek Program, Advanced Scout Program.

• Camp Boyhaven   Although not a Council Boy Scout Summer Camp Anymore, an EXCELLENT place to go Summer, Fall, Winter or Spring Camping.  Our 2nd home.  Camp Boyhaven has become a Cub Scouts DREAM Resident Summer Camp Program.  Say "Hi" to Ranger Gus and "Mrs. Gus" (Laurie) for us.

• Skymont Scout Reservation Near Altamont, Tennessee...owned by Cherokee Council in Chattanooga. They have a "mini-Philmont" type trek on the Appalachian Trail for older guys.

• Bonner Scout Reservation. Owned by East Carolina Council. This place also includes the Pamlico Sea Base High Adventure Camp for older Scouts.

• Tesomas Scout Camp Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
