Non BSA Camp sites are also listed. AC - Camp Bedford Located in the beautiful Adirondacks, Camp Bedford is operated by the Adirondack Council on 150 acres near Malone NY. It is at the very top end of the state. AHC - Camp Merz Over 360 acres on Chautauqua Lake just south of Mayville, New York. Summer camp program includes sailing, canoeing, rowing, fishing, swimming, rifle and archery ranges, outpost trips to Chautauqua Gorge, Westside Overland Trail, etc; modern, central dini AHC - Kruson Training Center Located in Welling, NY, the site includes 2 Lean-Tos, Several Troop Sites, & a Picnic Pavilion. 55 Acres of wooded and cleared land are located east of Wellsville, New York. BPC - Baden-Powell Council's Camping Web This homepage provides links to information about its camps & camping programs for both Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts including both Camp Tuscarora & Camp Barton. BPC - Camp Barton In 1924, Camp Barton was established at Taughannock Falls, a mile or two south of our present location at Frontenac Point on beautiful Cayuga Lake in the heart of New York's Finger Lakes. Operated by the Baden-Powell Council, the camp is near Trumansburg. BPC - Tuscarora Scout Reservation Camp Tuscarora is located in the magnificent foothills of the Catskill Mountains. Camp Tuscarora has 1100 acres of beautiful woodland, entwined with trails galore. Operated by the Baden-Powell Council. CCC - Camp Rotary This is one of the few remaining councils in the country with no web presence. This link is to bsacamps.org. The camp is a small 29 acre facility but it does have a dining hall. Located in Niles NY. Nothing special about this camp or council. FLC - Camp Babcock Hovey The bulk of the Camp Babcock-Hovey was deeded to the Finger Lakes Council, in 1939. The Seneca Indians inhabited this camp which now contains 350 acres on Seneca Lake. Camp Onseyawa operates here for two weeks as a resident camp for handicapped youth. FLC - Muller Scout Reservation Muller Scout reservation is a short term outpost camp used for Camporees, Klondike Derbies, Cub Scout Day Camp, unit camping, etc.. It is located in the Bristol Hills, near Naples, NY on about 125 acres. This link was not active the last time checked. FRC - Camp Gorton Camp Gorton is located outside of Dundee New York on beautiful Waneta Lake. During the summer, Camp Gorton offers both Cub Scout Resident camp and Boy Scout Resident camp programs. During the off season, Camp Gorton is open for weekend rentals. FRC - Roricks Glen Camp This 128 acre camp has a stream for boating and canoeing as well as a Dining Hall & Winter Cabins. Located in Elmira NY. FRC - Sayre Welles Woods Located in Millport NY on 112 acres, this is a primitive camping area with tent sites and an acticity field. HSC - Camp Portaferry This is the camp of the old Seaway Valley Council before they were absorbed into the Hiawatha Seaway Council. The new council has decided to keep the camp and expand the programs there. HSC - Camp Portaferry Mainly a historical site. This land, where Camp Portaferry is now located, is rich in history. Originally part of the great McComb's Purchase, many relics have been found, the most recent being two dugout canoes. HSC - Camp Woodland Camp Woodland, located 2.5 miles North of Constantia, NY on Kibbe Lake Road is home to the Hiawatha Seaway Council Scout Museum. Thousands of Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts take advantage of this nearby facility each year at Council sponsored events. HVC - Camp Bullowa Camp Bullowa Day Camp is located on Franck Rd, Stony Point, NY in Rockland County. It is the primary Day Camp facility for the Hudson Valley Council. HVC - Camp Nooteeming Camp Nooteming is located on Scout Rd., Salt Point, NY in Dutchess County. It is one of three camps of the Hudson Valley Council. LOTOC - Camp Ballou This is an undeveloped weekend camping property of the Land of the Oneidas Council. LOTOC - Camp Kingsley Camp Kingsley is used primarily for a Scout camp during the summer months, but also is used throughout the year for Unit, District and Council events. The camp has some tent area, lean-tos and the Kluge lodge. This Northern New Jersey Council facility is a part of the Dow Druckker Scout Reservation near Middletown NY. NNJC (NJ) - Camp Turrell Operated by the former Passiac Valley Council in New Jersey (becoming the Northern NJ Council) the 1000 acre camp is in Forestburgh, NY. Camp Turrell has a 95 acre lake, row boats, canoes, sail boats, archery range, rifle range, handicraft area, etc. NNJC (NJ) - Crossett Lake Scout Res. At 958 acres, this camp has Extra large lake providing everything except motor boating and water skiing. Rowboats and canoes available. Tent sites, Winter cabins. Activity field, Dining hall, Patrol cooking. In Fort Ann, NY near Vermont border. NNJC (NJ) - Dow Druckker Scout Res. The Dow Druckker Scout Reservation is made up of two camps (Camp Turrell & Camp Kluge) in the low part of the Catskills of New York State. The reservation is over 795 acres with a 90-acre Lake. Just out side the towns of Port Jervis & Middletown. NNJC NNJC (NJ) - Floodwood Mountain Scout Res This is the main web site for this base of the Northern New Jersey Council. The Floodwood Mt. Scout Reservation contains the Rollins Pond Adventure Base which is located in Altamont, NY about an hour north of Lake Placid in the heart of the Adirondacks. NNJC (NJ) - Rollins Pond Adventure Base This facility of the new Northern New Jersey Council is a High Adventure base offering Canoe Treks, Hiks, Sailing, Camping, Water Skiing, Rock Climbing, & Rappelling. NNJC (NJ) - Rollins Pond Adventure Base Rollins Pond Adventure Base has been the ultimate site for High Adventure for over thirty years. The base is located in Altamont, NY between Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake about an hour north of Lake Placid in the heart of the Adirondacks. Camp Pioneer, originally built in 1952, has been newly refurbished and expanded. OTSCHODELA - Henderson Scout Reservation Henderson Scout Reservation is made up of over 600 acres of woodlands and a 70-acre lake that are managed and maintained to give you the best possible Scouting experience. Operated by the Otschodela Council, this camp is located near Oneonta NY. PPC (NJ) - Sabattis Adventure Camp Located on scenic Bear Pond, this Patriots' Path Council camp is situated well off Route 30 between Long Lake and Tupper Lake it is right in the heart of one of the premier High Adventure areas. RVWC - Tri-Mount Scout Reservation The camp of the Rip Van Winkle Council has programs for both Cub & Boy scouts, each described on this web site with their own page. The camp surrounds the 30 acre "Deep Pond", which is a kettle hole famous for its Yellow Perch, Pickerel and Sunfish fishing TwinRC - Boyhaven Scout Camp Camp Boyhaven is approximately 9 miles west of Saratoga just off of RT 29. If you are heading west, you need to make a right onto Boyhaven Road ( the first intersection after the hamlet of Rock City Falls. TwinRC - Camp Sans Souci This short term camp of the Twim Rivers Council has driving directions on this site. The camp is on Pleasant Lake and has several rental cabins, TwinRC - Camp Saratoga This is a short term camp of the Twin Rivers Council located on Scout Road near Gansevoort NY on 300 acres. TwinRC - Camp Wakpominee Camp Wakpominee consists of a Resident camp and a day camp located on over 850 acres in the Adirondacks in Upstate New York. It boasts one lake and three ponds near Fort Ann, NY. Operated by the Twin Rivers Council. TwinRC - Rotary Scout Reservation This is a fully developed camp of the Twin Rivers Council with cabin rentals and year round usage. Camp is on 1500 acres in Averill Park, NY. This dedicated web site has a flash introduction and information on camps with an interactive camp map. TwinRC - Scout Island This is a primitive camping area operated by the Twin River's Council. TwinRC - Woodworth Lake Scout Res. Camp Woodworth is located in Bleecker Mountain of the New York Adirondak State Park. The camp property itself is 35 acres but the scouts can trek over 1,500 acres surrounding the camp. WPC - Camp Siwanoy The issue of council mergers and sale of excess property has been with Scouting for decades & is likely to continue. This camp is now closed as it has been sold. WPC - Clear Lake Scout Reservation Located in Putnam County, Clear Lake Scout Reservation boasts 1,400 acres of largely undeveloped land with many campsites and miles of hiking trails. Two lakes offer boating and swimming opportunities in season. WPC - Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation The Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation has become one of America's premier Scout Camps. This picturesque 1000 acre property is located 30 minutes north of the village of Lake George, NY in the six million acre Adirondack Park. Westchester-Putnam Council. WPC - Durland Scout Aquatics Center It is located at 310 Stuyvesant Avenue on Milton Point in Rye., there is an aquatics center here with a pool, boat building for venturing, and SCUBA certification. NY - Bronxville Scout Cabin John F Kennedy was a Scout in Bronxville Troop 2 in 1932 he used this cabin NY - Camp Conron Queens NY Pack, Troop & Post 55 own Camp Conron, a 55 acre camp in Holmes, NY. The Camp was purchased in 1964 has a lake for swimming, fishing & boating plus a main house, lean-tos, tenting areas, trails, ball field, & basketball court & Rifle Range. NY - Windsor Terrace Scout Center in NYC The Windsor Terrace Scout Center is a one of a kind facility located at 243 Prospect Park West in Brooklyn. It was conceived in the 1980’s and constructed in several phases. Overnight accomodations for units visiting the Big Apple are possible here.
